Privacy Policy

Mic Bleed Remover collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporting and no server. Your recordings never leave your device, because the app has no code capable of sending them anywhere.

Mic Bleed Remover (“the App”) is published by Bulpara Teknoloji Limited Şirketi (“we”, “us”). This policy describes what happens to your information when you use it, which is a short document because the answer is mostly “nothing”.

1. What we collect

Nothing. Not your recordings, not your email address, not an advertising identifier, not usage statistics, not crash reports. There are no ads in the App on any tier, and therefore no advertising SDK and no consent prompt. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

2. What happens to your audio

No part of this involves a network. The App contains no networking code at all — no URLSession, no Network framework, no third-party SDK that could carry data off the device.

This is verified rather than asserted: a check in the project’s build (make privacy) scans the sources for roughly forty networking and analytics symbols and fails if any of them appears in the app, its audio engine, or anything they depend on. For this policy to stop being true, the App would have to change and that check would have to be removed.

3. What is stored on your device

All of it lives in the App’s own storage, is never transmitted, and — with the one exception below — is deleted when you delete the App.

The exception, stated plainly: the free-export count is kept in your device’s keychain, and a keychain item outlives the app that wrote it. If you delete Mic Bleed Remover and install it again, that number comes back, and your free export is still spent.

That is the point of putting it there — in an earlier build the counter lived in ordinary preferences, where deleting and reinstalling handed out an unlimited supply of free exports. What is stored is one number under this app’s own identifier. It is not linked to you, not shared with us, not synced to iCloud, and it is not a device identifier: it cannot be read by any other app, and it tells nobody anything except this app, on this device, how many free exports it has given out.

4. Permissions

The App asks for no permissions at all. It does not record audio, so it never asks for your microphone. Picking a file or a video uses the system pickers, which hand the App only the item you chose and need no permission. It does not write to your photo library.

5. Subscriptions

Premium is sold through Apple. Your purchase, renewal and cancellation are handled entirely by the App Store; the App asks iOS whether a subscription is active and is told yes or no. We never see your payment details, and we receive no personal information from Apple. Apple’s own privacy policy governs that transaction.

6. The built-in sample session

The App ships with a sample recording so you can see what it does without supplying anything of your own. Its speech comes from the LibriSpeech corpus and is used under CC BY 4.0, credited in Settings. It is a file inside the App; using it involves no network and no account.

7. Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal data, share it, or transfer it to third parties, because we do not have any. There is no third party in the App to share it with.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, including children.

9. Your rights

Rights of access, correction, deletion and portability apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none. On your own device you can delete any session from inside the App, and deleting the App removes everything it stored except the single free-export number described in section 3.

10. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it. Any change that made the App start collecting something would be a change to the App, not only to this page.
